In a few words

In 1889, in the village of Isigny-sur-Mer, a gentleman named DUPONT created a butter trading company. While admiring the Normandy countryside, he had the idea of founding, in 1894, a dairy company which he called Dupont d'Isigny. Subsequently, in 1932, one of his employees, Ernest Fleutot, a great cook and gourmet, offered him a unique caramel recipe.

At Dupont d'Isigny, the caramel contains premium quality ingredients such as fresh milk from Isigny, butter and cream from Normandy, natural flavors added to sugar and glucose. All these ingredients are carefully measured and cooked very slowly by the confectioner in a copper cauldron.

Over the years, Dupont d'Isigny has expanded its range of confectionery, including specialities of hard boiled candies, chewy candies and jelly candies on a site equipped with modern industrial equipment. This while respecting the original caramel manufacturing techniques.

The secret of Dupont d'Isigny: Combining modernity and authenticity in the manufacture of sugar confectionery.
