In Saint-Florentin (89), in Burgundy, in the heart of the sugar plain, Charles DAULLE and Georges LION (in the family with the emblematic Joséphine Baker) founded the confectionery in 1938 “Dolis Candies”, later renamed Dolis for the slogan “Dolis a real delight”.
Dolis, specialized in hard pressed candies and caramels was destroyed in 1944, only to be reborn from its ashes 3 years later.
The Burgundian confectionery then developed its ranges with chewy candies in 1950 and marshmallows in 1993 , transforming it from an artisanal confectionery to an industrial confectionery, which delights young and old since 80 years.
Dolis has now become a key player in private label brands in France and abroad, thanks in particular to its integration into the Sucralliance group in 2005.
