In a few words
Part of a bakery in Neuville en Ferrain in 1912, which went through the production of biscuits in the 20s, the Verquin confectionery, which became Confiserie du Nord in 2019, has grown significantly.
Creator of the famous the miner's pastille thanks to the recipe for a plant cocktail from an English officer from the First World War hosted by the leader of the time, Confiserie du Nord moved to its current site in Tourcoing in 1991.
This expansion allowed it at the time to launch into the production of private label confectionery on a large scale.
Now made up of two confectioneries based in Tourcoing and Neuville en Ferrain, Confiserie du Nord produces and markets a diverse range of confectionery for the whole family, including the famous Têtes Brûlées.
Equipped with both modern production lines and more manual lines, highlighting the confectionery know-how of its teams, the Confiserie du Nord sites produce nearly 13 tons of confectionery per year.
